Community Action co-ordinates five forums and networks:

The Health and Wellbeing Network- aims to ensure that the voluntary and community sector is more closely aligned with the new arrangements for the planning and commissioning of services that will be overseen by the Derby Health and Wellbeing Board. The Volunteer Co-ordinators Forum - Brings together volunteer-involving organisations across all sectors in Derby city to promote and celebrate volunteering and voluntary action, share models of good practice and policy, remove barriers to volunteering and promote diversity. Social Enterprise Network brings together local social entrepreneurs, charities and voluntary sector organisations, to informally meet on a regular monthly basis. To discuss issues, build strong relationships and share best practice learning. To lead to increased independent trading, winning contracts, increasing organisations sustainability and becoming less grant reliant. The Childrens & Young People's Network - Is voluntary sector led and is the key group representing the voluntary sector for Children and Young People's Services.
